It’s a big day for album streams, what with the La Dispute album streaming on Noisey and the latest from Perfect Pussy streaming on NPR, but be sure to heed another notable album streaming via NPR’s First Listen series. The War On Drugs‘ latest, Lost in the Dream, is streaming over there in its hour-long entirety.

The write-up over on NPR by Jacob Ganz is a good one, touching on many of the same points I would. The music is low-key and relaxed, yet purposeful. Interest fades into investment, with the line between the two even fuzzier than the ’80s jams that await past the nine-minute, gate-keeping opener.
