Watch Ava Luna’s “Genesee” Music Video

Brooklyn’s art-punk group Ava Luna just dropped their newest album, Electric Balloon, at the end of February. It’s a soul-filled Dirty Projectors-esque release that is well worth the listen. To put some images to the sound, the band just shared a video for “Genesee” off the record.

With some post-punk jittering and eerie harmonies, “Genesee” gets a video that matches its sound, because the very thing that comes to mind with structures like that is a house haunted by fluffy, car-cleaner-mop creatures. The video, produced and directed by Ava Luna’s Becca Kauffman with Courtney Powell and Ana Veselic, has the band sitting rigid in a quaint house. For a look at what happens, you’ll have to watch.
