A Faylene Sky Are Parting Ways

The post hardcore outfit A Faylene Sky had a good run, but it seems their time as a band has come to an end. They have posted a statement to fans confirming that they are parting ways as a band. Their frontman is going to be a father, and he wants to focus on that new aspect of his life. You can read the entire announcement by taking a look below the jump.

Hey everyone, this announcement comes with an extremely heavy heart. A Faylene sky is over. We have had an AMAZING run and have seen so many places, met so many people. We’ve shared countless memories that will last a lifetime. All of our fans, friends and family are literally the only reason we ever did as much as we did. I remember as a teenager when my favorite bands broke up they would pin it off as “personal conflicts” or some other excuse that left me in the dark. Wondering what really happened. So I feel as though it’s my responsibility to fill you all in as to why this incredible journey is coming to an end. I (Troy Ray), am going to be a father. Which means in return I no longer have the availability to give my strongest one-hundred and ten percent that I have been giving these past almost five years. And anything in life I always promised to myself that I would give that much effort into anything I did. So now I will go be the best father in the whole world. Like I stated, you all are the reason why A faylene sky has got to explore the country and beyond. You all mean the world to me. And I will never forget all of the people I met along the way. The blood, sweat and tears that went into this beautiful life I have been so blessed to be living. All of the bands that I toured with, I thank you all for being incredible people and I hope to stay in contact. Every member of this band, past and current. You’re all my brothers, I love you all to death. So with a very heavy heart, this is our goodbye. Stay tuned for more information on our HOMETOWN farewell show. Where we will take our final bow.
