It’s been quite a year for New Jersey indie rockers Real Estate. Not only did they put out an excellent new album, Atlas, but they announced a new live EP, shared US tour dates, and taught us how to play “Crime” on guitar. Naturally the next step was to stop by La Blogothèque for a dependably breathtaking live session. The 30-minute video has frontman Martin Courtney, guitarist Matt Modanile, and bassist Alex Bleeker playing in a cozy indoor setting to a small group of onlookers.
The video catches Real Estate playing music off of Atlas, including an unreleased single from the recording session. The song, titled, “White Light,” will be released as a B-side on an upcoming single. Splitting up their set was a cover of Weezer’s classic hit “Say It Ain’t So” (around the 17:00 min mark) as well.
