The Shins Share “So Now What” From ‘Wish I Was Here’

I have this crazy idea that any song by The Shins in a Zach Braff movie is to be considered one of their best.

Over at NPR, the new track that The Shins contributed to his new film, Wish I Was Here, is streaming for your listening pleasure. And it’s exactly that. It reminisces of Wincing the Night Away era, but mixed with some of the dreamier aspects of earlier tracks, not unlike the ones featured on Braff’s last movie. It’s a very nostalgic track, instrumentally and lyrically.

Braff’s taste in music is nothing short of impeccable, and the rest of the soundtrack should prove to be nothing less than as good as this track. Check out the tracklisting for the rest below. And stay tuned to UTG for more information regarding Wish I Was Here.
