LISTEN: Weezer Shreds In New Single, “Back to the Shack”

Weezer‘s new single, “Back to the Shack,” is an outright jam. The band’s first single off of the highly-anticipated new LP, Everything Will Be Alright in the End, “Back to the Shack,” shreds from start to finish — showing us Weezer never lost that edge we have loved from the beginning.

Everything Will Be Alright in the End is due out September 30 and drummer Pat Wilson has been quoted describing the record as “If you took the Pinkerton band and then play all the other records, that’s what we sound like now. Bombastic, loose, kind of booming. This record sounds like it’s going to have the tight structure of Blue Album with a little bit more abandon like Pinkerton.”
