UTG TV: Warped 2014 With Bowling For Soup

“In 1995, I took a semester off from college to give this whole band thing a go. And I’m still on that semester off of college.”

The 2014 Vans Warped Tour features a lot of new talent, but there is nothing wrong with getting nostalgic and kicking it with the bands that have been around the block a few times.

Bowling For Soup has been a band for over twenty years. Despite their efforts to tone things down and relax a bit for family and personal purposes, the guys have never really been too good at staying off the road. As the group released their latest record, Lunch. Drunk. Love., in 2013, the endless touring continues.

We spoke with BFS bassist Erik Chandler about the extensive career of his band, sharing the stage with the likes of everyone from Aerosmith to Ja Rule, and what he would need to consider if he were to write a song called “1995.”
