Under the Gun sent photographer Xander Deccio to the Seattle Center in Seattle, WA on July 12 for Chive Fest.

I’m going to be brutally honest: I had no clue what The Chive was, and when I heard from a colleague that they were having a music festival at the infamous Seattle Center, I had to check out this website that legions of fans were flocking to to see what the hype was all about; a ‘male-friendly version of BuzzFeed’ as one person put it. However, The Chive was not just another BuzzFeed clone, but in fact something much bigger, and little did I know it would have a massive following amongst Seattleites.

The fest’s lineup was pretty stellar, boasting acts such as Steel Panther, Washed Out, St. Lucia and Girl Talk performing a DJ set that had Seattle Center losing their minds in a massive dance party. Overall, it was an interesting experience to say the least.
