If you haven’t noticed how great From Indian Lakes is by now, despite my uncertainty of how and why, after listening to “Breathe, Desperately,” you won’t be able to ignore it any longer. With both videos for “Ghost” and “Sleeping Limbs,” the band’s new album Absent Sounds should be all over your radar and should be your most anticipated album for the remainder of the year.

Filled with full and melodic guitar parts from beginning to end, in-your-face drum fills and rhythms, and the majestic, yet subtle voice of Joey Vannuchi, the song delivers literally everything you can ask for in a song. Comedowns that lead to huge booming choruses, clean and minimal verses that set the stage for the sing-a-longability that the chorus gives. Please do yourself a favor and get on the bandwagon now.
