A new video has just surfaced on the interweb of legendary singer-songwriter Neil Young with an epic alternate version of his single, “Who’s Gonna Stand Up? (And Save The Earth?).” As if the original version of the rock and roll “environmental activism anthem” wasn’t good enough, Young has decided to step his game up and record the same song with a full, 92-piece orchestral ensemble.

The heavy electric guitar riffs were replaced by majestically arranged string and wind instruments and a backing chorale group, adding an even more theatrical vibe to the song, which is taken from Young’s upcoming record, entitled Storytone, scheduled to be released on November 4 via Reprise Records.
