Kanye West is Playing a Free Show in Times Square Tonight

A free Kanye West show seems too good to be true. Tonight, however, is the real deal. Kanye West will perform in New York City’s Times Square at 7:30PM as a part of the World AIDS Day Concert.

U2 are throwing a surprise World AIDS Day (RED) performance in the city, but since Bono’s bike accident on November 16 has left him unable to perform, they asked some friends to step in. Those friends just happen to be Kanye West and Carrie Underwood. U2 will still perform, taking on the moniker U2 Minus 1 with help from Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay’s Chris Martin. In addition to West and Underwood, Adam Clayton, The Edge, and Larry Mullen Jr. will perform as well.
