Riff Raff and Rae Sremmurd have each had their most successful year as artists in 2014, so it may come as no surprise that the rap heavyweights are kicking off 2015 with a collaborative single you won’t soon forget.

Taken from Mike Will Made It‘s recently released Ransom mixtape, “Choppin” will soon be the official new single from Riff Raff and Rae Sremmurd. The track boasts bass-heavy production and an infectious hook that sticks in your mind like peanut butter to the roof of your mouth. It’s the kind of ignorant, give no thought to what haters or lames may think song that demands to be played at obnoxious volumes which may threaten the structural fortitude of every piece of glass in the immediate vicinity. This track perfectly meshes the ridiculous personalities of everyone involved to create something wholly unique. That is something that can’t be said for most mixtape collaborations, but for whatever reason “Choppin” hits me right in the soul. When it plays I want to conquer the world, and as long as the track continues to thump in my headphones I cling to belief such grandiose maneuvers may in fact be possible. You can do anything in this life you put your mind to, but it might be just a bit easier if you listen to this song while you work. Enjoy.
