Last month, Small Houses — the musical moniker of Jeremy Quentin, a Flint, MI native currently based in Philadelphia — released the endearing track “Staggers and Rise,” off of the project’s upcoming LP, Still Talk; Second City, out Feb. 10, 2015. Now, the band has released an intimate video to complement the Americana vibe of the track.

Directed by Anthony Simpkins, the video connects Quentin’s heartland delivery with shots of the road, towns, living rooms, and more. Making the inside look into this town and its community as intimate as possible, the video creates an immediately sense of nostalgia, gifting the viewer with the thought that this town is indeed their own home, with local bars, venues, squares and more.
