UTG PREMIERE: Airsickness – “Faking Smiles”

airsickness faking smiles single premiere 2015 under the gun review

Tampa, Florida-based alternative rock band Airsickness are ready to take the rock world by storm through a clever mixture of explosive melodies and aggressive instrumentation. “Faking Smiles,” the band’s first single off their debut EP Between All The Lies, captures the vocal transparency of Armor For Sleep, with the musical abrasiveness of Pierce The Veil. The track, which is streaming exclusively after the jump, is an impressive debut for any band.

Between All The Lies is set to release March 31 — with the band hosting a record release show in Tampa on March 28 — featuring special guests The Lion In The Maine, Anew, and Relief In Sleep.

Casey Jago, Airsickness bassist, had this to say about “Faking Smiles”:

“Faking Smiles” is a song about dealing with issues face to face rather than letting the little problems in life build you up to a breaking point. If you’re upset or angry, put all that energy into dreaming big and working to overcome
