Cleveland’s Spring Fling Festival Expands Lineup

According to Ian Hunter, “Cleveland Rocks,” and I think I’m starting to agree with him.

Yesterday, The Forest City’s Spring Fling Festival added a crap-load of stellar acts to their lineup, including Four Year Strong, Pianos Become The Teeth, Gates, Head North, Turnstile, Defeater, and many more. They will join the previously announced headliners, The Story So Far and The Movielife, at the historic Agora Theatre and Ballroom on May 15.

“When I started Spring Fling, it was to help my friends’ bands have a place to play on their way to or from Bled Fest out in Michigan,” said festival co-founder Jason Parent. “I had an overwhelming amount of support from the Cleveland area scene, and I always had it in the back of my mind that I wanted to do my own festival with Cory and Alex that was our own separate pursuit—which was what led us to expanding the capacity and doing our own weekend this year with some very diverse headliners and supporting bands. I couldn’t be happier with how this lineup shaped up, and with how this festival is hopefully going to blossom into something bigger in the coming years.”
