Berlin’s DEATHS released two of my favorite tracks last year with “Sold” and “Lonewolves,” which were released on a b/w 7-inch. It took maybe 30 seconds of the latter before I was hooked. I’ve been craving more ever since and I’ve been watching closely as I expect DEATHS to blow up in no time and start occupying spots in the lineups all your favorite festivals.
Early last week, DEATHS returned with their third track to surface. “Saviour” is a tad more upbeat and hectic in its production but the brooding, somber tone is still very much present, mostly in the deep vocal presence. It’s a perfect follow-up to last year’s output making this enigmatic outfit three for three on singles thus far.
