The 1975 explore a clown romance in “A Change of Heart” video

It must be pretty sweet to have an entire amusement park for yourself and your date, and The 1975 take full advantage of this with their latest music video for “A Change of Heart,” off their sophomore album I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It.

The video, shot in black and white, depicts a clown couple dancing and enjoying themselves at the carnival. The female clown gets increasingly fed up with the male clown’s antics (played by The 1975 vocalist Matthew Healy) that she once found endearing and leaves him sitting on a bench in the rain, heartbroken and desolate.
