Michael Keaton starts a fast food revolution in new trailer for ‘The Founder’

It’s not easy running a business. It’s even harder to turn that business into one of the largest corporations in the world. But that’s exactly what Ray Kroc did with McDonald’s in the 1950s, and what Michael Keaton as Kroc aims to do in the new trailer for The Founder (via USA TODAY).

Kroc meets Dick (Nick Offerman) and Mac (John Carroll Lynch) McDonald in Southern California while working as a traveling salesman and quickly becomes enamored with their restaurant. It isn’t long before the partnership between the brothers and Kroc becomes contentious, and things spiral from there as Kroc dedicates himself to getting the best deal, even if it’s at the expense of his business partners and personal life. All of the actors are phenomenal in the trailer, and John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) looks to have crafted a riveting story of the man behind a fast food giant.

The Founder stars Michael Keaton, Nick Offerman, John Carroll Lynch, and Laura Dern and is set for release on August 5. What do you think of the trailer? Does it make you hungry for a nice tasty burger? Let us know in the comments below.
