Dr Conrad Murray, the man who is the subject of an investigation into Michael Jackson’s death, has hired Britney Spears’ former lawyer – who says he has experience in Propofol death cases.
He has enlisted the services of J. Michael Flanagan, who defended Spears for her hit and run case in 2007. Flanagan said he had experience of case involving Propofol – the drug it is alleged was administered to Jackson just before he died.
“I’m probably the only attorney in town [Los Angeles] that has successfully tried a Propofol case involving death,” he told TMZ.com.
The Los Angeles Police Department is set to hand over the case details to the city’s District Attorny within weeks, the website reports. The death is being treated as a homicide.
Conrad Murray returned to work at his practice in Houston last November.

Michael Jackson is one of the greatest singer in our time. He is really the King of Pop and we would really miss this great person,
May we never forget The King of Pop! Mr Jackson’s death was a result of all the pain he had to endure during all the child molestation charges made against him. He prevailed in the the courts, but his health spiralled out of control. So can you say it was a single doctor’s fault, or perhaps the eagerness with which this modern world judges before trial? This applies particularly to famous people.
