Chicago’s Monsters have decided to call it quits. The band had recently released their self titled debut on False Prophet Records and had been gaining a large following, but it appears their time has come to a close. You can read a statement from the band below. We at UTG wish the members of Monsters luck in all their future endeavors. We will miss your sound.

To Everyone: MONSTERS has decided to break up. The band has come to an end on good terms with all of the members individually. Due to different interests, the band has decided to part ways. Thank you to everyone who supported us/helped us make our dreams come true. A strong thank you to anyone who has given us a place to stay! This is the end for us but..there will be a last show! thank you all. – MONSTERS (’08-’11)
