MOVIE TRAILER: Prometheus

A new trailer for Ridley Scott’s upcoming Prometheus has made its way online. This teaser follows a preview that appeared late last year, and features further tantalizing shots of the titular craft and its crew as they explore an alien civilization.

Prometheus is, loosely, a prequel to the Alien series and takes place in the same universe. However, Scott has indicated that the film is not directly connected to the events of Alien and will explore its own ideas. This trailer is more gripping than the previous footage that surfaced, with a tangible sense of fear and awe at the dark, eerie world in which the crew find themselves. It should pique interest in the movie even further ahead of its June 8th release date.

The impressive ensemble cast includes Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Guy Pearce, and Noomi Rapace. You can view the trailer below – be sure to leave us your thoughts!
