Harp And Lyre To Go On Hiatus?

Harp And Lyre have announced via their Facebook and Tumblr pages that they will be taking a break after the The I Am Rebellion tour with Seeker and Ark Of The Covenant. They are not officially breaking up or specifically going on a “hiatus”, however they have indicated they feel that this is the time of their lives and careers that they must take a step back.

You can read the below statement, which is taken from their Facebook page. You can read the full statement, which is on the band’s Tumblr page by heading right here.

Like all things that have a beginning, they also have an end. This isn’t necessarily an announcement about the end for Harp & Lyre but more of an acknowledgement of change. Harp has frequented the road for the last 4 years and experienced incredible things but a new season has arrived and we all feel the call to remain home on a more full time scale. We have posted a longer statement here:

The I Am Rebellion tour with Ark of the Covenant, Seeker, and Forty Winters will be our last tour for quite some time, until we feel led to do another. It will also be our release tour for our new record Tribes, scheduled to come out in October. Please come hang with us while you can and support the other bands we will be on the road with. Thank you all and we hope to see you soon.

Harp And Lyre will be releasing their album Tribes in October still, so be sure to check it out once it’s available. In the meantime, head over to the band’s Facebook page to see a full list of their upcoming tour dates to see if they will be hitting a city near you.
