Superstar astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson is Bill Nye The Science Guy for the Internet age. In a little over the span of a year he went from being the subject of a meme to a meme in and of himself. And why not? Dude is awesome.

Tyson had a chance to sit down with rapper GZA, one of the founding members of Wu-Tang Clan, to discuss matters concerning astrophysics, the effect of the media on the perception of rap music, and many, many other subjects on his radio show Star Talk. GZA isn’t called The Genius for nothing.

Some of the connections that GZA makes between science and hip-hop are genuinely startling. Also, the rapport the two share during the interview bodes well for the quality of their upcoming collaborative hip-hop album about space. Check out the full interview below.
