It’s Official: ‘Jurassic Park 4’ Hits Theaters In Summer 2014

Two decades have passed since the original Jurassic Park debuted in theaters, but next year audiences will once again be able to take a trip to a land where dinosaurs still roam.

Universal has finally set a release date for the long-rumored and gestating Jurassic Park 4. The 3D sequel (don’t act surprised) is expected to hit theaters June 13, 2014.

Steven Spielberg will produce the film, which is being penned by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes). No director has been named, but the recent delay of Robopocalypse has lead many to believe Spielberg may take the role.

Those interested in seeing the original Jurassic Park on the big screen can do so when it returns to theaters in post-converted 3D April 5. A trailer for the re-release can be found below.
