Tonight, Misser made a stop in Springfield, Virginia on their pop-punk all-star tour with The Wonder Years, Fireworks, and Hostage Calm.
The show was at Empire where 24/20 management owner and concert promoter Tyler Greene (who some may recall as the vocalist for metal band ABACABB) was collecting merch cuts. When Misser merch guy and member of Late In The Playoffs, Dan Schein, gave him their cut, Greene reportedly “called him a Faggot” for not having more to give him.
This promoter must have forgotten about the Internet and the pop-punk community’s distaste for homophobic slurs when making that insult because the Twitter-sphere lit up in a flame of angry tweets from members and crew of the bands on the tour.
A collection of tweets regarding the situation can be found below.
If you’re a “promoter” and you call multiple people on a tour a “faggot”you can go take a hike forever: see you never.

Any band books a show involving Tyler Green in VA and I will not work for you. I will walk if a tour if I see him in the building.
