WATCH: A$AP Rocky and Adidas Team Up In “Quick Ain’t Fair” Campaign

Rick Ross may no longer be an active Reebok representative after his controversial rape lyric incident, but have no fear. Another one of the rap games hottest right now, A$AP Rocky, has teamed up with Adidas in their latest, “Quick Ain’t Fair,” campaign.

The commercial features NBA stars Damian Lillard of the Portland Trailblazers, Jrue Holiday of the Philadelphia 76ers, and John Wall of the Washington Wizards, while A$AP rhymes about their journey over the instrumental of his infamous track, “Goldie.” Rappers partnering up with popular shoe companies is nothing new to the music industry.

Cross-promotion between artists such as Kanye West, Jay Z, Swizz Beatz, and Lil Wayne are just a few examples of how valuable rappers can be to athletic companies and their brand. For instance, Kanye West’s pair of Nike’s, Air Yeezy II, retailed $250 and are currently going for upwards of $2k on eBay. It may sound crazy, but fanatic shoe collectors take their hobby seriously.

Adidas #QuickAintFair commercial featuring A$AP Rocky can be viewed below.

The shoe featured in the ad is called, Crazyquick, and hits stores May 1.
