STREAM: Capital Cities – “Farrah Fawcett Hair” Ft. André 3000

“It’s good shit!”

LA’s Capital Cities just released their debut album today, entitled In a Tidal Wave of Mystery, through Capitol/Universal Records. The track “Farrah Fawcett Hair” is likely the most outrageous song you’ll hear today. It’s wonderfully funky with catchy hooks and buzzy bass lines and strewn about it are pop culture shout-outs aplenty and obscure samples featuring lines like, “I like it when public bathrooms have scented candles.”

“Farrah Fawcett Hair” is just stacked in every way, especially in the sense that it features Outkast’s André 3000, soul vocalist Shemika Secrest, NPR voice personality Frank Tavares and Capital Cities fans. You can experience this raucous beaut after the jump and make sure to pick up Capital Cities’ debut out today!
