Fast-rising alternative rockers Search The City have released a stream of a new single entitled, “Runaways.”

Hitting Soundcloud just after midnight, “Runaways” is the latest track to surface off Search The City’s forthcoming album, Flight. The song straddles the line between pop jam and ballad with a passion, and the results of those efforts is one of the catchiest singles you’ll hear all week. It may seem a bit depressing to think the line “How much can your heart take” will be stuck in your head, but once when you hear the delivery of vocalist Travis Bobier I’m certain you’ll welcome the company.

Flight is scheduled for release soon, and to cash in on an obvious turn of phrase it seems poised to help Search The City’s career really take off. “Runaways” is a fantastic single that could have legs at radio, but we’re interested in what you – the people who actually go to shows and support bands like this – think.
