Just over a week after unveiling the official audio, AFI have released the music video for their latest single, “I Hope You Suffer.”
Fittingly dark and atmospheric, the first music video from AFI to hit the news in 2013 follows months of oddly cryptic offerings meant to tease the group’s forthcoming album. The clip finds the four piece perfroming against an all black background, with very limited lighting poking through what is essentially a wall of smoke effects. It’s simple, dark, gritty, and leaves you with a chill down your spine similar to the impact of the song itself.
“I Hope You Suffer” is only one of many tracks found on AFI’s upcoming album, Burials, and we expect one or two more will turn up in the weeks ahead. Until then, comment below and let us know your thoughts on the group’s latest video.

Digging the video. Fits perfectly with the song.
