Toro y Moi have either gotten really bored or are quite smitten with the UK edition of The Office. Chaz Bundick covered “Slough,” the song recently played by David Brent (acted by Ricky Gervais) in a series of online guitar tutorials.
“Slough” is a Brit pop track whose name is the British town where the series took place. Under his Toro y Moi moniker, Bundick transformed Gervais’ song into a latter-era Bowie track–definitely not what we were expecting. It’s awesome.
