Say what you want about Trent Reznor’s time away from Nine Inch Nails, the dude had already perfected making eerie creepy rock music. The latest song to hit the web from their upcoming album, Hesitation Marks, is certainly not a single, but instead is an ambient album opening track, titled “The Eater Of Dreams.” The less-than-a-minute-long song premiered with a preview of the album’s artwork and packaging, which sounds a whole lot darker with the song playing.
I’m not going to lie, though; I’ve thought the singles so far were fairly weak and this little ambient track has got me more pumped for Hesitation Marks than “Copy Of A” or anything else I’ve heard off the album thus far. Check out the song and the artwork here after the break.
