Drug Overdoses Reported At BOA Pavilion Just A Day After Two Die At NYC Fest

New York City’s Electric Zoo festival is an annual dance festival that draws thousands of spectators from across the country. In the first couple days of the festival, there were two deaths and four people hospitalized for what police believe were all drug related. Specifically, MDMA (Molly) or ecstasy. While many fans were disappointed by the cancellation, many others believe the city made the right decision to cancel the last day’s activities. You can read more details on the story here.

As if that wasn’t enough, the Boston Herald is reporting three more overdoses at the Sound Tribe Sector 9 show last night. As of right now their condition is unknown, but as soon as we know we will update. Officials believe these concertgoers are also suffering from the effects of an overdose of MDMA.
