There is no comparison to hearing a pop cover you never expected and having it instantly make the material feel new once more. It’s a rare treat no one can predict, and recently one such gem was delivered by Ellie Goulding while visiting the BBC.
Appearing in the BBC Radio 1 studio with her band, Ellie Goulding debuted a stirring rendition of Justin Timberlake‘s “Mirrors.” The performace was highlighted by her signature wispy croon and ‘barely there’ instrumentation, with results that quickly received praise from fans worldwide via social networks. You can view video of the appearance at the end of this post.
Goulding recently released Halcyon Days, which features the hits “Burn” and “I Need Your Love” (featuring Calvin Harris). If you need a great end of summer party record, we suggest picking it up when time and money allows.
