The Animal In Me Cover Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball”

The Bay Area’s The Animal In Me made some noise this past year with their single, “I Created A Monster,” but have also done their share of Top 40 covers to gain momentum, their latest being Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.”

Their leading lady Laura didn’t take it off and hop on an actual wrecking ball, but she did give as much as Miley in the delivery. If you’ve never heard anything from this band, you assume it’s a female fronted group and the song just plays like a rock cover, then in bursts Shane – much like a say, wrecking ball? Sorry, I had to.

The Animal In Me is like We Are The In Crowd in that they have a male and female on vocals BUT they’re like if you took WATIC through puberty and put them among harder bands out there like Woe, Is Me.

They’ve covered Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Carly Rae Jepsen and now Miley. Listen to their take on “Wrecking Ball” below.
