Thurston Moore To Join Sonic Youth Bandmate At London Show

The Sonic Youth frontman’s newest project, Thurston Moore UK, is set to support Lee Ranaldo and the Dust at London’s Garage on November 21. Lee Ranaldo and the Dust is the latest project of Lee Ranaldo, co-founder of Sonic Youth and is made up of Ranaldo, Alan Licht, Steve Shelley and Tim Luntzel. The group released the album Last Night On Earth last month.

Sonic Youth announced the band’s hiatus in 2011, following the split of Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore.
