Stone Sour Announce 2014 Tour Dates

Remember when Slipknot fans were excited after some of the band hinted they’d be back in the studio come January? Well it seems like they’ve hit a little bump in the road since frontman Corey Taylor will be out on tour that month with his other band, Stone Sour.

Stone Sour will kick things off with Pop Evil on January 14 in Florida and wrap up about a month later in Texas. We can’t assume Taylor won’t be working on new material while out on the road though, so there’s still hope that a new Slipknot record will be underway soon. Fans have been waiting patiently since 2008’s All Hope Is Gone.
