According to Property of Zack, last night at Brand New’s intimate show in Brooklyn, the band confirmed that they are currently recording new music.

The band did not give any other information regarding a time frame for the release, but in Brand New terms we have already been given a ton of information anyway.

While people have been speculating for months on the possibility of new Brand New material, it is nice to have some actual confirmation from the band. I think we all know that is hard to come by these days. Hopefully more information will be released in the future (or will it?), though in the meantime let us avid fans have this moment of hope for the horizon.
