The Early November Debut New Song, Announce Live DVD

The Early November celebrated the ten-year anniversary of their debut full-length, The Room’s Too Cold, this winter with a long-awaited vinyl reissue and a pair of shows this past weekend that featured front-to-back performances of the record. The album was a turning point for many people in our scene, and hearing it played live (particularly the closing track, “Everything’s Too Cold… But You’re So Hot”) would no doubt be a great experience. Fortunately, those of us who weren’t able to make it to New York or Philadelphia this weekend will be able to get a taste of the performances via a live CD and DVD, which should see the light of day sometime next year.

To top off the night, the band also announced that they are working on the follow up to their 2012 comeback album, In Currents, and they played a new song called “Better That Way.” Check out a video of the performance after the break, and pick up a copy of The Room’s Too Cold on vinyl right here.
