Joel Piper has made it okay to listen to Lorde‘s runaway hit “Royals” on repeat for just a bit longer.

Earlier today, the drummer and cleans vocalist for Confide took to Twitter and Soundcloud to release his personal remix of Lorde’s “Royals.” The track, which you have more than likely heard by now, has been made new once more thanks to additions from Piper that can best be described as futuristic Caribbean-influenced EDM. I know that sounds a little crazy, but to be fair every great remix has a bit of insanity on its ingredients list. You can stream and download the track below.

Piper has been delivering covers, original songs, and remixes via his personal Soundcloud for a while. If you have not already followed him on Twitter, take the time do so now. The future of Confide is debatable, but I think it’s safe to say Joel Piper is going to be around for many years to come.
