The Fall Of Troy Want You To Be Involved In Their Future

For fans of The Fall of Troy, it seemed like the end of the 2014 was as good as it would get. The post-hardcore trio reformed for the first time since their 2010 dissolution to play a series of full-album shows in Austin, Texas. What started as a one-off event has blossomed into a full-fledged reunion that may even include new music this year.

With the new chapter in their lives comes a new attitude of do-it-yourself ethos and unprecedented fan involvement. The band summed up their plans in a recent Facebook post. Here’s an excerpt:

Starting in Austin and continuing into the foreseeable future, we are going to keep all shows local to the cities/states we play.

All the bands are going to be local [bands]; fans like you.

All of our merch is going to be designed and printed by local artists; fans like you.

We are not doing this to cut corners; we will be paying you for the designs we use, for your printing, for your band to open up for us. We think that it is paramount, while we are in your town, we should support you and your local businesses.
