Watch Lily Allen’s 8-bit Video Game Lyric Video for “L8 CMMR”

English sass master Lily Allen is back with a new music video, and it’s just as entertaining as her other releases. The song, called “L8 CMMR,” was written for the soundtrack to Lena Dunham’s HBO series Girls and gets an 8-bit lyric video full of bright colors and NES blocking.

The song was produced and co-written by Greg Kurstin and is severely less biting and bitter than Allen’s other work. That’s okay, though. Any excuse to watch retro video game-styled music videos is an excuse I’m glad to have. Not too long ago, Allen released a rather dizzying music video for “Hot Air Balloon” too which you can watch here. Watch the new video for “L8 CMMR” below.
