It’s been a good while since we’ve heard from Santa Cruz, California’s Son Of Aurelius, but today the band has premiered a brand new track with MetalSucks that’ll be featured on their forthcoming full-length, Under A Western Sun.

“Clouded Panes” is a slight departure from what we last heard from SoA on their 2010 release, The Farthest Reaches; an evident evolution is in full effect. The technical prowess in the shredding guitars and precision drumming is still intact, and even more so, but the deep guttural growls have been replaced with surprising clean vocals that still manage to fit in well with the higher register screams the band has always had.
