In the past 10 years, Scott Hansen has been swirling up beautiful minimal electronic sounds under the moniker Tycho. His gorgeous second LP, Awake, came out this year to positive reviews from fans and critics alike. However, the new album saw a new look: Tycho became a trio and took on a sound more along the lines of post-rock and trip hop than his soft songs from previous years.

Today, his new music video for “See” comes out and we feel like we’ve left planet Earth once again. Directed by Bradley “GMUNK” Munkowitz, who helped with Oblivion‘s CGI, the music video follows a heroine’s journey through the forest as she uncovers parallel universes and hypnotic runes. With something this magical, it wouldn’t be right not applauding the DP, Joe Picard.
