New Found Glory Sign To Hopeless Records; New Album Due This Fall

Among Hopeless Records’ streak of new signings comes a group we’ve heard plenty of over for over 15 years: New Found Glory. News of the band’s signing initially broke out through an Instagram post made by guitarist/vocalist Chad Gilbert, which was subsequently followed by a post made by their new label.

The Florida pop-punk outfit will start tracking this currently untitled record at the beginning of June. For the first time in their history, this will all be handled as a four-piece in light of Steve Klein’s departure late last year.

On semi-unrelated note, today marks the ten-year anniversary of NFG’s highly acclaimed fourth studio album, Catalyst.  This news, coupled with this anniversary, could lead to an interesting set list if they go on any tours this fall.

We here at UTG want to know your take on what an album without Klein could potentially be like (considering his previous status as the band’s chief lyricist), so please share your thoughts with us in the comments below after following the jump to view Gilbert’s Instagram post.
