Just a few days after announcing plans to release an EP this summer, Four Year Strong have shared a new song titled “Tread Lightly.”
It’s safe to say a little time has passed since the world last heard from Four Year Strong, but “Tread Lightly” serves as proof that the band has aged like fine wine. Their aggressive take on the pop punk genre is front and center, with lyrics about the struggles of growing up guiding each verse and refrain. There’s even a reference to the group’s hometown of Worcester, which is where many members still reside today. You can stream the song below:
Four Year Strong will release their new EP, Go Down In History, on July 22 via Pure Noise Records. Pre-order bundles are available now and include multiple vinyl options.
