Forget about The Fault In Our Stars. The song you’re about to hear may very well be the most depressing piece of art you experience throughout the entire month of June. That’s not a bad thing in the slightest, but I felt it best to warn you in case you needed a minute to grab Kleenex and/or put other tasks on hold.
Aaron West And The Roaring Twenties, otherwise known as the side project of Dan ‘Soupy’ Campbell from The Wonder Years, have released the official video for their new single “Divorce.” From the opening line, which depicts a depressing phone call from a lonely truck stop in the middle of nowhere, Campbell tugs at your heartstrings while strumming away on an acoustic guitar. The video highlights his somber performance amidst a subtle story line. You can view the clip below.
“Divorce” is taken from Campbell’s debut solo album, We Don’t Have Each Other, which is scheduled for release on July 8 via Hopeless Records. Pre-orders are available for purchase now.
Campbell will be performing a handful of dates at the Acoustic Basement stage on this summer’s Vans Warped Tour. Check out which dates below.
