Thrice may be slowly but surely transitioning out of their hiatus, but frontman Dustin Kensrue has been steadily keeping up his solo efforts to back his second full-length album, The Water And The Blood. Recently at Dallas, TX’s Pegasus Music Festival, Kensrue whooped out a cover of “Buzzcut Season,” which comes off of Lorde’s debut album, Pure Heroine.
We don’t know why he had chosen to cover one of 2013’s breakout artists at this festival, but we do know that we absolutely loved the performance. Follow the jump to watch a fan-made recording, and be sure to keep up with UTG on Facebook and Twitter for any updates regarding Thrice or Kensrue’s solo efforts.
