Stream Bleachers’ New Song “Like A River Runs”

Jack Antonoff is popping up everywhere this year. The fun. member started a new project titled Bleachers in February and they’ve been nailing their sound since their first single dropped. We’ve already heard “Shadow” and “I Wanna Get Better,” and now we get another new track, “Like A River Runs,” which features an impressive set of vocals from Antonoff.

Anthemic drumming and a chorus of Killers-esque guitar builds for the type of song that gets you teary-eyed during teen drama movies or that great lovers chase scene. The longer it goes, the more the vocals seem to bounce between the sorrow, sodden depth of The National all the way to the happy bopping of Bishop Allen or Hellogoodbye. It gets us all the more excited to hear Bleachers’ debut album, Strange Desire, in full when it comes out July 15 on RCA Records.
