Allison Weiss Streams New EP, ‘Remember When’

After weeks of teasing from Allison Weiss (a single here, a stream there), today her five-song EP, Remember When, was made available for purchase, digitally and otherwise. Furthermore, the entire thing is now available to stream as well.

The title track and “Giving Up” are great examples of what Weiss does best: indie pop with heart and a driving beat. Robyn cover “Call Your Girlfriend” showcases the raw emotion in the cracking of her voice. The cover to the EP is grabbing–bubblegum pink with a black crayon sketch of a campfire–and gets you ready to reminisce with Weiss but also suggests how bright her star is burning right now. The short-haired, bespectacled crooner is out on the road for the entire month of July as a feature of the Acoustic Basement set on Warped Tour. If the tour and the EP aren’t enough for you, head over to Stage It for her Internet Summer Residency, where she performs a live internet show every second Wednesday for the duration of the summer.

You can stream Remember When below via Rdio.
