Swedish pop queen Robyn and Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp teamed up earlier this year to release a collaborative mini-album titled Do It Again (out now on Dog Triumph, via Wall Of Sound/Cooking Vinyl). Back in April, they put out a lyric video for the album’s title track, but now the single has gotten a proper music video — and it was worth the wait.
Directed by Martin de Thurah, the “Do It Again” black and white video is a beautifully shot clip that takes place in Mexico and tells a huge story about oppression and rebuttal with the youth and a city’s people. While Robyn and Röyksopp are in the video, they make sure to stay as mere players in the larger tale, a humble decision for the sake of art.
